Former Nelson Mandela Bay mayor Mongameli Bobani to be laid to rest

Former Nelson Mandela Bay mayor Mongameli Bobani will be laid to rest on Friday morning.

The UDM Councillor passed away in St George’s Hospital last week after a three-week-long battle against COVID-19.

Bobani’s funeral will be held at the Feather Market Centre from 10 am with a maximum of 100 people allowed inside the venue.

Residents will also get an opportunity to watch the funeral proceedings on the Metro’s Facebook page.
