Mobile classrooms to be put up following KZN floods

Mobile classrooms will be assembled in Kwazulu-Natal from Tuesday.

The provincial Education Department says they are an interim measure to ensure that flood-damaged schools are able to operate again.

The Department says it expects the mobile classrooms to be ready by the end of the week.

Thousands of pupils returned to classes for the first time on Monday after two weeks.

Floodwaters have destroyed several roads, bridges, water, and electricity infrastructure in the province.
