Thousands of IDs remain uncollected, says Minister Motsoaledi

There are still hundreds of thousands of ID’s that have not been collected yet by the public, according to Home Affairs Minister Aaron Motsoaledi.

He says the department is extending operating hours from 8 am to 4 pm this weekend across the country ahead of the local government elections.

This is to enable people to collect or apply for their ID’s to vote on Monday.
