Mineworkers stage sit-in at Impala Platinum Mine

Around 400 mineworkers are staging an underground sit-in at Impala Platinum Mine near Rustenburg.
Amcu has been trying to convince the workers to come back to the surface.
The protesters are contract workers who are demanding permanent employment at the mine.
Earlier this year, 200 miners at the nearby Lanxess chrome mine staged a nine-day sit-in.
