Mzansi content creator, and media personality, Mihlali Ndamase finally broke the silence on her alleged relationship with Zimbabwean tycoon Sir Wicknell Chivayo. The two have undoubtedly been making headlines since their alleged relationship rumours made rounds on the internet.
Controversial blogger Musa Khawula made the bold allegations on X, formerly Twitter. He posted, “Mihlali Ndamase’s new boyfriend Wicknell Chivayo is married. Wicknell Chivayo and his wife have two kids together.”

The post set social media abuzz as Mzansi tried to connect the dots about their rumoured relationship. Against the trends, Sir Wicknell took to social media to rubbish the rumours. He said they were fake and misleading. Sir Wicknell also took a swipe at tabloids and popular social media users for peddling lies.
With the rumours fizzling out, Mihlali Ndamase took a swipe at Maphepha Ndaba for spreading the news without having her side of the story. Maphepha Ndaba shared a screenshot of their chat with Mihlali in a now-deleted post.
Taking to her Instagram, Mihlali Ndamase thanked Sir Wicknell for addressing the daring rumours. She posted, “Thank you for clarifying this @sir_wicknell. It’s so sad the obsession South Africans have with giving me men, being associated with men I’ve never even met. Please check your facts before spreading harmful rumours without supporting evidence [sic].”
Mihlali Ndamase’s ex-boyfriend Leeroy Sidambe also rubbished the alleged rumours. Sidambe referred to the rumours as ‘fake news.’ The two called it quits in 2023 and had a dramatic fallout, leading to social media wars.
After all, it seems Mihlali Ndamase and Sir Wicknell were in the same city Florida. Mihlali Ndamase is on vacation and has been sharing some of her priceless moments thus far on Instagram. On the other hand, Sir Wicknell Chivayo had visited Sean Kingston in Weston, Florida.
No doubt this is not the first time the bubbly influencer and YouTuber has been rumoured to be in a relationship with a Zimbabwean businessman. In 2023, a rumour mill alleged that Ndamase was in a relationship with a member of parliament and goal dealer Scott Sakupwanya.
The rumours came against the backdrop of her fallout with Leeroy Sidambe. However, Scott Sakupwanya rubbished the rumours and said he didn’t know Mihlali Ndamase. Scott Sakupwanya said, “l don’t even know this person,” as he cleared the air on his alleged relationship with Ndamase.
