Everything you need to know about this year’s Men’s Conference – Where and how it is happening
While many couples will be celebrating Valentine’s Day, some men will equip themselves with life and love skills.
They will do this at the second annual men’s conference.
Organiser Shakes Ngema of kwaito duo Shakes No Singil, said this year’s conference will be streamed live and guest speakers will include traditional healer Dr 3 Seconds, Ukhozi FM presenter Nkosinathi “Dr Love” Mshengu, and 1KZN TV station manager, Edwin Mncwango.
He told the publication that the conference will be streamed live on the Move Entertainment Facebook page.
Shakes told the publication the conference will be a good time to arm men with the relevant skills.
“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in a moment of comfort and convenience, but where he stands in times of challenges and controversy.
“Let’s build better men for tomorrow.
“We will also teach the men to fight against women abuse and love and protect women and children,” he said.
He said it always hurts him that men only spend time together when they drank alcohol, but didn’t talk about serious matters.
Shakes said last year’s conference was successful.
“We trust our guest speakers will groom men and cover all aspects of life in general,” he told the People’s Paper.
