Operation Dudula members clashed with police outside the Johannesburg Central Police Station on Friday afternoon.

The leader of Operation Dudula, Nhlanhla Lux Dlamini will spend the weekend behind bars.

Dlamini was expected to appear in court following his arrest on Thursday.

He has been at the forefront of protests against undocumented foreign nationals.
