Ngizwe Mchunu granted bail

Former Ukhozi FM DJ Ngizwe Mchunu has been granted R2000 by the Randburg Magistrates Court.
The defense managed to poke holes in the state’s submission and secure bail for their client.
The state’s failure to give enough evidence to back the charge of incitement to commit public violence led to the Magistrate seeing no reason to keep the accused behind bars.
However, the Magistrate said the state on the two other charges may have evidence and though those charges are not at the level of incitement charge, they are still serious.
Mchunu has several conditions attached to his bail.
