Debate over matric pass rate continues

The debate over the matric pass rate, and the quality of the pass mark, continues.

Paul Esterhuizen, CEO of School Days, is the latest to weigh in on the matter.

With the pass mark in some subjects as low as 30-percent, he says this figure is nothing to celebrate.

Esterhuizen says most school leavers will struggle to find employment – even after matriculating.
