Exams quality assurance body Umalusi has raised concern about the effect of protest actions on the smooth running of the examinations.
The body says in the North West, arrangements had to be made for close to 460 candidates, while over 50 candidates in Gauteng could not write due to community protests.
In Mpumalanga, over a thousand candidates were prevented from accessing examination centres.
There are also other issues worrying the exam’s quality body.
