Several recent mass shootings in KZN
Kwazulu-Natal has seen numerous violent crimes and mass shootings in the past few months.
Last week, eight people were killed at the notorious Glebelands Hostel in Umlazi.
The province has also experienced some high-profile murders, including that of rapper AKA.
The killers are yet to be caught.
Police are also investigating the murder of a Home Affairs whistleblower in Tongaat last week.
Phumelele Ndlovu was shot several times ahead of her court case against police officers who had allegedly extorted money from her.
