Victim of R18 000 lost to Uzalo actor Masoja Msiza speaks out

Uzalo actor, Masoja Msiza is embroiled in a real-life scandal that could easily fit his on-screen character, Nkunzi Mhlongo.

Together with two other actors, Masoja was booked to make an appearance at an event. However, the event organizers, Esona Masele and Zukisa Robiyane were left disappointed by Masoja’s shady actions, after not pitching at the event in Es’larheni, Mdantsane.

It is alleged that after learning about his big shooting commitment to Uzalo, Masoja communicated with the organizers that he won’t be able to come through to the event.

“I sent Khathaza to go on my behalf because I was busy on that day.”

Masoja Msiza had already been paid R18,000 from the original R20,000 fee that was agreed upon. The remaining R2,000 was to be paid on day of the event, but due to his unattendance, the actor is now required to pay back the money but nope, Masoja was on some – Andizi!

According to SA Soapies, one of the event organizers, Zukisa Robiyane said the following:

“He canceled a week before the event on December 7 saying that he has a very big shoot with Uzalo so he can’t make it. I told him to refund us so that we can book other actors to come and cover-up his mess and that’s when he told me that akahlangani nalawo masimba and I am the one who must book those celebs to come to my event.”
