Music star donates groceries to Senzo Meyiwa’s family

It was a poignant moment to the father of the late Senzo Meyiwa, Sam Meyiwa, who could not hold back his tears after Ndlovukazi the Maskandi singer donated to him and his family groceries worth R6000 as reported by Sowetan Live.

Sam Meyiwa had suffered a stroke in August leaving him speech impaired and wheelchair-bound.

According to the publication, the Meyiwa family has been facing difficult times and Ndlovukazi born Thandolwenkosi Mbatha came to their rescue with a generous gesture in a form of groceries.

Ndlovukazi informed Sowetan Live that she felt the need to lend a helping hand to the Meyiwa family as she could see how badly Senzo’s death had affected his father and the entire family as a whole.

“I only realised when Bab’ Sam suffered a stroke that Senzo’s death really affected him. It shows that he has been suffering, especially since the case is still unsolved.

“As a musician, I felt the need to donate the groceries just to meet them halfway. It is not much but I knew I had to help. They need all the support they can get,” said Ndlovukazi

This year, Senzo’s father was on an un-relentless quest to find out who killed his son, Sam Meyiwa even went to the extent of being interviewed on Metro FM and hinting that he was aware of who might’ve killed his son.

Amongst those he mentioned on the interview included Chicco Twala’s son – Longwe Twala who also, later on, went onto Metro FM to clear his name about what had happened on that fatal night when Senzo got killed.

To this day, Senzo’s case is still unresolved.
