Maps Maponyane is totally disgusted with the fact that Caster Semenya has been invited to compete in the male races. Caster has been facing a struggle with the IAAF and Mzansi has stood behind her the whole way
The IAAF has ruled in favour of forcing Caster out of competing in the female races due to her testosterone levels.
IAAF inviting Caster to participate in the male races. This invitation has left a sour taste in many people’s mouths, especially Maps. Out of utter shock and disgust, Maps took to social media to share this bizarre statement.
In his post, Maps expressed his disgust. It is beyond horrifying that the IAAF has even suggested this. Not only is it completely immoral, it is an absolute slap in our champion’s face. Mzansi will not let Caster fall!
"Female athletes with high testosterone levels that participate in the 400m hurdles, 800m and 1 500m and mile would be welcome to compete with male athletes if they're not comfortable taking medicine to lower their testosterone levels." You can't make this stuff up. SMH IAAF. https://t.co/fwMw4jK7A7

I think athletic South Africa, and all other athletic organizations should boycott IAAF events, the same should be done by other international federations who are in solidarity with us. including the sponsors

Unbelievable!! The nerve these ppl have to even consider this…… shows how incompetent iaaf officials are & should not be given the powers to make such impactful decisions
