Maps Maponyane got proposed to by a stranger and he said yes

While many of us are too shy to “shoot our shot,” one brave Capetonian woman took a chance and proposed to heartthrob Maps Maponyane.

According to the TV personality, the proposal happened on Tuesday afternoon while he was stuck in traffic when a woman shouted “words of marriage” from her car while pointing at her ring finger. And due to the romance level, Maps just had to say yes.

Got proposed to this afternoon in CT traffic by a woman in her car shouting words of marriage and pointing at her ring finger… I said yes. I think it was the romance level that got me,” he wrote on Twitter.

Although one would think that’s where it would end, the woman took it a step further by DMing the model and telling him she was already finding good schools for their children since they are now married.

Many were excited over the news, including world-renowned DJ Black Coffee who offered to play at the wedding.
