Police launch manhunt for suspects in Eastern Cape couple’s murder

Police launch manhunt for suspects in Eastern Cape couple’s murder! Police in the Eastern Cape have launched an urgent manhunt for suspects linked to the brutal murder of a local couple. The victims, a 58-year-old man and his 64-year-old wife, were shot execution-style at their homestead on Thursday night, sending shockwaves through the community.

Gruesome Discovery at the Crime Scene

According to Eastern Cape police spokesperson Captain Namhla Mdleleni, authorities were alerted to the tragic incident at approximately 6 PM. Upon arriving at the scene, officers made a gruesome discovery—the lifeless bodies of the couple lying in pools of blood, both with multiple gunshot wounds.

“It is alleged that three unidentified men arrived at the victim’s home, where they found the wife alone,” Mdleleni stated.

The armed suspects then forced the woman to call her husband, and upon his arrival, both victims were mercilessly shot before the attackers fled the scene in a black Volkswagen Polo with CA registration plates.
