3 up for Mangaung mayorship

Moves to replace the mayor of Mangaung are already underway.

On Thursday, the ANC in the Free State decided to fire Mxolisi Siyonzana, citing poor service delivery as the reason.

The ANC has nominated MP Seiso Mohai, Umkhonto weSizwe veteran Gregory Nthatisi, and the Free State convener of the Women’s League, Lulama Titi-Odili, as possible replacements.

But while the ANC hopes a new broom will sweep clean, not everyone’s convinced.
