10 Players Linked With Man Utd Transfers

With the January transfer window just days away from opening, here are 10 players who have been linked with a move to Manchester United as the Red Devils look to strengthen for the second half of the 2019/20 season.

United are currently seventh on the Premier League table, having won just seven of their 19 matches since August.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer might be looking for ways to improve his side ahead of the second half of the campaign, with many believing the team is in need of reinforcement in almost all departments.

One of the latest players to be linked with the Red Devils is Napoli and Belgium attacker Dries Mertens, whose contract in Italy expires at the end of the season.

According to the Daily Express, the 32-year-old could be sold by the Italian club in January rather than being allowed to leave for free in July 2020, although United could have some competition for his signature in Arsenal.

Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho has reportedly been on United’s radar since last year and appears set for a move away from the German club at the end of the season.

Midfielders Arturo Vidal and Christian Eriksen are also believed to be on the Red Devils’ shortlist, as is Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish. The Englishman has been in top form upon his return to the EPL, assisting five goals and scoring five times since the beginning of the league campaign.

Salzburg striker Erling Haaland has been tipped to become a marquee signing for United, although there are a number of other clubs after his signature, including Real Madrid and Manchester United – click through the gallery to see more players linked with the 20-time English champions!
