The application by Royal AM and TS Sporting to have arbitrator Hilton Epstein’s SC ruling to award Sekhukhune United three points reviewed has been “dismissed” with costs.
“The application to review the arbitrator’s award given by Epstein SC on 19 May 2021 is dismissed,” the Johannesburg High Court has ruled on Saturday following arguments and counter arguments on Friday.
The arbitrator’s decision is deemed to be final and binding, which means Sekhukhune must be credited with three points.
This would mean they jump to 53 points on top of the GladAfrica Championship log, which is two more than Royal AM who’ll go to playoffs.
With this ruling by the Judge on Saturday, Sekhukhune are automatically promoted to the DStv Premiership and Royal AM will go to playoffs.
