
10 people have been injured in a collision between a Metrorail train and a Transnet machine that rolled back on the tracks on Saturday evening.
Metrorail spokesperson, Lillian Mofokeng stated around 300 people were evacuated from the train following the collision.
Ten people sustained mild to moderate injuries according to Mofokeng and were transported to receive medical attention.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
