Malawi’s High Court has ordered a recount of some ballots in the country’s elections.
The electoral board is also being blocked from releasing any results.
The opposition, Malawi Congress Party, filed a complaint that there had been tampering with the votes.
Ballots in 10 districts, including the commercial hub, Blantyre, will now be recounted.
It says results will be released after a thorough investigation has been done
Malawians voted for a President, Parliament and Ward Councillors on the twenty first of May.
