Makhadzi Hospitalised After Serious Car Accident

The Mzansi entertainment industry ended 2025 on a sombre note following news that award-winning singer, dancer and songwriter Makhadzi has been hospitalised after being involved in a car accident.
The 29-year-old star, whose real name is Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, was travelling from Limpopo to Johannesburg on Wednesday, 31 December 2025, when the accident occurred. News of the incident sparked widespread concern among fans and fellow artists across the country.
Makhadzi’s team, Makhadzi Entertainment, confirmed the incident in an official statement.
“Makhadzi Entertainment confirms that award-winning artist Makhadzi was involved in a car accident while travelling from Limpopo to Johannesburg on the morning of 31 December,” the statement read.
“She is currently receiving medical care and remains in hospital, where her condition is stable and under close observation by medical professionals. The priority at this time is her recovery and well-being.”
The team also appealed for privacy as the artist focuses on her recovery.
