Lebogang Maile lauds City of Tshawane for positive audit outcome
Gauteng Finance and Economic Development MEC Lebogang Maile has applauded the City of Tshwane for improving its municipal performance. This comes after three consecutive years of poor performance. Maile was responding to the Audit outcomes of the Gauteng municipalities released by the Auditor-General last week.
The City of Tshwane, which maintained unqualified audits with findings for the first three years under review, received an adverse opinion in the 2021/2022 financial year. The metro received a qualified opinion in the 2022/2023 financial year, marking a significant improvement,” he said.

Bafana Bafana captain and Mamelodi Sundowns star, Ronwen Williams makes history by being nominated for the prestigious Yashin Trophy at the Ballon d’Or awards. Williams was the only African in the 10 nominees for Fifa’s for goalkeeper of the year award.
He is the first goalkeeper to be nominated for the club while playing for an African club. He had 35 clean sheets in 59 games in 2023/2024. Read more
