Madonna splits from toyboy boyfriend after three years together

American singer and actress Madonna has reportedly separated from her boyfriend Ahlamalik Williams. The couple — who have a 35-year-age gap between them — started dating in 2019. But it wasn’t their age gap that led to their break up, according to reports. According to Hello Magazine, the 63-year-old took to her Instagram Stories to share a very telling post after the news broke on Tuesday 26 April.

“Karma said: When somebody in your life is not right for you… God will continuously use them to hurt you until you become strong enough to let them go.”

The publication reports that when the couple first made their relationship public, Drue Williams, who is Ahlamalik’s father, declared his support for the pair.

“Love has no age. My son is livin’ la vida loca, and I’m just happy for him,” he said. There’s a lot of love but for now they have decided to separate. They are still on good terms and there are no hard feelings but they are at different places with their lives,” the source revealed.

“They spent months together on tour and in lockdown, but now he has moved out of her home. With them both working on other things, it was hard to keep their romance alight,” the source said.

In addition, Madonna has reportedly thrown herself into a busy social life and has been seeing her friends and family after the split.

“She has a packed schedule, working on her upcoming biopic, new music and looking after her family
Madonna is no stranger to dating younger men. Prior to dating Ahlamalik, the Take A Bow singer was in a relationship with personal trainer Timor Steffens who was 26 years old at the time in 2014.

She has also dated French dancer Brahim Zaibat for three years before they parted ways at the end of 2013, and before that, she dated Brazilian model and DJ Jesus Luz, whom she met on a Hello Magazine photoshoot.
