KwaZulu-Natal: At 19H09 Saturday night, Netcare 911 responded to a shooting on Miami Road in Hibberdene on the KZN South Coast.
Reports indicate that a 31-year-old male, who, according to locals, was not a resident in the area, had sustained multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body.
The patient was assessed on scene by an advanced life support paramedic and found to be in a critical condition.
The patient was rapidly treated and once stabilized was transported to the hospital for further care.
Circumstances leading up to the incident are not known.
