It ends in tears: Luxurious cars worth R23.5 million crash – VIDEO

Three mid-engined exotic Ferraris were damaged in a crash during the annual Supercar Show in Philadelphia on Sunday.

The event saw hundreds of performance cars making a handful of stops across the city. At one stage, cops blocked off part of the highway.

In the video, it appears the driver of a black Ferrari 488 GTB was tempted by an open slab of pavement and decided to have a little fun.

The Ferrari can be seen speeding down the left lane of the highway with the filming car, reportedly a McLaren 600LT, following closely behind.

According to Carscoops, the drivers noticed that they were fast approaching another supercar from behind but rather than braking, they swerved into the middle lane.

The 488 then kicks out the tail and proceeds to slam into the side of the red Ferrari 488 Pista before bouncing off and hitting the black Ferrari 458 Italia.
