Police have launched a manhunt for four suspects believed to be linked to the Lusikisiki mass murders in the Eastern Cape.
Gunmen shot and killed 18 people in Ngobozana village two weeks ago.
A 45-year-old man was arrested for the murders and faces charges of having an unlicensed firearm, in addition to being a parolee on a separate murder case.
Authorities believe the suspects, aged between 20 and 31, will assist them in solving the mass murder case.
“Police investigations are at an advanced stage and tracing operations are underway for these four wanted suspects. They are; 20- year-old Songezo ‘Mashiya’ Vuma, 31-year-old Bonga ‘Rico’ Hintsa, 25-year-old Aphiwe ‘AP’ Ndende, and 31-year-old Lwando Anthony ‘Shakes’ Abi.
