Singer Lungisa Xhamela was close to Thami Shobede, the young musician who passed away very recently. Lungisa says it’s a difficult time for those who were close to Thami, who died in Kalafong Hospital, Pretoria, according to TimesLIVE. Thami’s record label, Gallo Record Company, confirmed the news. It is believed that the singer collapsed while performing on stage over the weekend.
Lungisa feels that his friend has gone way too soon, Mzansi needed more of his music. “It is hard to express how much we will miss him. He gave us one album but I feel like one album is not enough. 
He was such an incredible talent.” He admitted that he didn’t think Thami’s sickness was very serious. “I didn’t take it seriously. I thought he would be fine. I didn’t know what was going on, only that he didn’t feel well.
