Luke Shaw signs a new FOUR-YEAR contract to stay at Manchester United

Luke Shaw has reportedly agreed on a new deal which will keep him at Manchester United for four years.

The 27-year-old defender has been part of the set-up at Old Trafford since 2014, and the new contract will take him over a decade of service to the Red Devils.

The Athletic report that talks between Shaw and the owners has been productive, with the defender now set to remain at the club under the management of Erik ten Hag, who joined last summer.

His previous deal was set to expire in 2024 after the club triggered a one-year option on his contract in December.

Shaw has had an impressive first season under ten Hag, playing 35 games, scoring once, and getting six assists.

Shaw has also been a key member of Ten Hag’s squad, excelling at both left-back and centre-back under the Dutchman.

Shaw joined United from Southampton in the summer of 2014 as a teenager and has made 248 appearances for the club.
