Repairs to Lotus Substation underway
City Power says it wants to restore power to the Lotus substation by Monday.
A fire at the site has left many residents in Johannesburg south without electricity.
New cables have been delivered to the site, and technicians are testing them.
City Power suspects the fire may have been caused by lightning but is investigating to determine if there was any foul play.
City Power is attending to an outage at Lotus Substation.
