Load shedding suspended until 5pm

Power cuts have been suspended until 5 pm on Sunday.

Eskom says this is due to sufficient recovery in generating capacity and pumped storage dam levels.

The country has been on stage 4 blackouts for the past few days.

The power utility says it will confirm the blackout stage to be implemented on Sunday evening, sometime on Sunday afternoon.
