There’s some good news on the power front on Sunday.
Eskom announced rolling power cuts would remain suspended until Monday afternoon.
This followed the return of some power-generating units to service.
The power utility said the units were brought back online on Friday, increasing available generating capacity.
It said it also has sufficient emergency reserves to allow for a longer suspension of load shedding.
Stage 2 load shedding will kick in at 4 pm on Monday until 5 am on Tuesday morning.
