Eskom is implementing Stage 2 load-shedding from 4pm Tuesday afternoon until 5am Wednesday morning.
Eskom said there were further breakdowns of generating units at Kriel, Amot, Majuba, and Tutuka Power Stations over the past 24 hours.
The utility said the load-shedding will assist to replenish the emergency generation reserves.
But keep the candles on standby as Eskom warns there’s a high probability of load-shedding for the rest of the week.
