Eskom to implement Stage 2 load-shedding

Eskom is implementing stage two-load shedding from 4 pm this afternoon until 5 am on Wednesday.

The power utility is citing higher demand as temperatures dip and generation unit breakdowns as reasons.

Some units are expected to return to service later on Monday to help ease the strain on the grid.

But keep the candles on standby as Eskom warns there’s a high probability of load-shedding for the rest of the week.
