Load shedding increased to stage 2 until 4pm

You may have been growing accustomed to the blackout patterns of Stage 1 till 4 pm then up to Stage 3.
But Eskom has ramped that up to Stage 2 until 4 p.m.
It says this is due to the loss of three generation units on Monday night.
Eskom says it will publish an update later on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa says blackouts will carry on into summer.
The utility will use lower demand to ramp up planned maintenance.
