Stage 4 load shedding underway

Stage 4 power cuts are currently underway until 5 am on Monday.

After that, stage 2 will then be implemented from 5 am until 4 pm.

The power supplier says pumped storage dam levels have been adequately replenished for the week ahead.

It says diesel levels at the power stations have improved but remain low.

Eskom says it will publish an updated power cut schedule as soon as any significant changes occur.
