Load shedding suspended until 4pm

South Africans are waking up on Sunday morning to no rolling blackouts for the first time in a long while.
But it’s a short reprieve.
Eskom is only suspending power cuts until 4 pm.
It says it will give an update later on Sunday afternoon, or if and when there are significant changes.
This week saw the power utility decreasing stages of outages.
The reduction was due to a recovery in generating capacity.
Stage 1 loadshedding will continue until 05:00 on Sunday. Thereafter, loadshedding will be suspended from 05:00 until 16:00. Eskom will provide an update on Sunday afternoon or as soon as any significant changes occur.
