Eskom implements stage 3 load shedding from 2pm
Eskom has announced that it will increase blackouts to Stage 3 from 2 pm.
The power utility made the announcement on Friday.
This will continue until 5 am on Monday.
Stage 2 blackouts will then kick in for the rest of the week.
Eskom blames the breakdown of multiple generating units for the escalation in blackouts.
Stage 3 loadshedding will be implemented from 14:00 on Friday until 05:00 on Monday morning;
