Lindani Myeni’s remains arrive in SA

The body of Lindani Myeni, who was killed by Honolulu police, has arrived back in the country. His remains landed at OR Tambo International Airport on Saturday morning. The family will now take the body back to his birthplace in KwaZulu-Natal.

At the same time, a recording of the 911 call made just before his death reveals shocking details about the incident.

In it, a female caller makes it clear Myeni was not armed and was calm. It also shows that officers did not identify themselves as police.
