Radio Legend, Linda Sibiya known as Mr Magic has announced his return to the airwaves.
The star that used to work for Ukhozi FM has joined Imvula FM to host the Morning Show from 6am to 9am on weekdays.
The show will go live on 1 April.
Linda said: “I’m excited to be going back on to the radio. I’ll be doing the Morning Show. I’ll also be training up-and-coming radio presenters. There are also plans to bring in experienced and popular presenters. The station aims not to compete with local broadcasters but fill in the gap.”
Ferdinand Mabalane, programming strategist at Vuma103FM says Sibiya’s arrival at the station is not only timely, but part of the station’s strategy.
Early this year Sibiya – the former host of the popular morning show, Vuka Mzansi Breakfast from 6 am to 9 am was dismissed by the SABC, after 17 years with UKhozi FM, the broadcaster would not give reasons for the move.
