19 dead in Limpopo accidents

16 people have died in an accident between a taxi and a truck near Groblersdal, Limpopo. The taxi was allegedly attempting to overtake when it hit the truck head-on.

A second taxi was also damaged in the crash. It’s believed one of the taxis was carrying pupils to school. A second crash on the R71 near Ga-Makanye this morning left three people dead.

Durban Gen actress Nelisiwe Sibiya is not happy. This was after the organizers of Miss Culture uMhlathuze Municipality used her name and picture to promote their event.

She took to Facebook on Wednesday, 1 March telling her fans that she is not part of the event, which will take place at Empangeni Civic Centre on Saturday, 4 March. She even posted the poster with her name and picture, putting an X across it. Learn more
