Lil Baby has canceled a slew of upcoming tour dates for his It’s Only Us Tour and fans of his aren’t taking the unexpected news too well on social media. According to Daily Loud, the Atlanta artist canceled shows in Phoenix, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, Denver, Indianapolis, Louisville, and Pittsburgh, even though fans reportedly spent $200 on tickets to see him perform.
Ticketmaster said in a statement: “Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event.” But no reason as to why was given.
The ticket marketplace company also said fans who are seeking out refunds will receive one to their original payment method “once funds are received from the Event Organizer, which is usually completed within 30 days,” according to AZ Central.
“If the Event Organizer is offering a credit option, it will be visible within the Event Details of your order, which can be found in your Ticketmaster account,” the statement said. Loyal Lil Baby fans weren’t trying to hear the noise and took to Twitter to vent their frustrations.
One fan came directly at the career progression of the “Close Friends” rapper. “We’re finally coming to the realization that yes Lil Baby has had a lot of success over the years, but he is a mid-rapper. Always been to me,” they tweeted.

“Was having this convo w someone about rappers that could sell out arenas and they swore lil baby was one, I argued with them up and down like he’s NOT tho contrary to popular belief. Now look,” another fan tweeted.
A third added: “I mean when you look at some of those cities, would you really expect there to be a lot of people that are willing to pay to go to a Lil Baby show in those areas? His LA, Houston, Chicago, New York, and other big city shows are still happening and I feel that says a lot about his draw.”
One fan went as far as to say that the lineup, consisting of The Kid LAROI, GloRilla, Gloss Up, Rylo Rodriguez, and Hunxho, and the high ticket prices were to blame for his abrupt cancellations.

One fan blamed Lil Baby’s advertising team for the multiple tour blunders, while others mentioned Gunna who he’s had a checkered relationship over the last few months.
“He bout to re-follow Gunna on IG now [crying laughing emojis],” one person wrote. “And all these lame ass bot ass n-ggas saying he was better than gunna,” another tweeted.

Although there may be an assortment of reasons as to why Lil Baby canceled tour dates for his It’s Only Us Tour, the 4PF CEO isn’t shy to give credit to female rappers and how they themselves are more prevalent than ever in Hip Hop.
During the latest episode of Complex’s G.O.A.T. Talk last week alongside Rylo Rodriguez, when he was asked to name his greatest of all-time female rapper, Lil Baby didn’t hesitate to bring up Nicki Minaj.
“Nicki Minaj for sure,” he replied, to which Rylo said: “I agree with that.” “There’s like crazy, crazy female artists right now,” Baby said. “Females are running the game right now.”
Female rappers have been on a tear these past few years, with Ice Spice, Sexyy Red, GloRilla, Latto, Coi Leray, Cardi B, City Girls, Scar Lip, and numerous others making big moves for women in Hip Hop.
Lil Baby’s love of Nicki Minaj should come as no surprise considering he and the Pinkprint rapper recently linked up for the song “Do We Have a Problem?” and Nicki admitted prior to its release last February that Baby “bodied” her on her own track.
“First of all, I want to just say shout out to Lil Baby,” Minaj said on Instagram Live at the time. “Y’all know I always keep it real about verses and all of that… Lil Baby, he might have… ummm… he might have got me!
“But listen, the point is: Lil Baby went super-duper hard — pause — and it’s so refreshing to see people still care about that type of stuff. I still care about it.”

Jermaine Dupri has proclaimed that JAY-Z‘s new ‘Book of HOV’ exhibit is the best-curated celebration in honor of Hip Hop’s 50th Anniversary so far. The So So Def founder took to his Instagram Stories to give praise to the billionaire businessman who he collaborated with on 1998’s “Money Ain’t a Thang.”
“As I’m coming in the studio, I’m watching clips of this ‘Book of HOV’ thing that Brooklyn Library decided to wrap the whole building in JAY-Z’s lyrics and turn the whole library into the ‘Book of HOV’ exhibit,” Jermaine Dupri said. “And recreate Baseline [Studios].
