The project leader in the Life Esidimeni transfers says he was under pressure to move patients to unlicensed NGOs.
Levy Mosenogi was giving evidence at the virtual inquest into the Life Esidimeni tragedy.
144 patients died after being transferred from various Life Esidimeni facilities to ill-equipped NGOs.
Most died of hunger and dehydration.
But Mosenogi says his plea for more time to move the patients fell on deaf ears.
The inquest will resume on 4 October.
