Letoya Makhene has taken to social media to share an emotional throwback before the days she became the actress we know and love.

She shared that before venturing into acting, she was a singer in a girl group called s’Kool Girlz. The group released two albums “Pampiri” and “The Party Goes On” but her mother’s untimely death made it very hard for her to go back on stage.

She went on to say that she knows that her mom’s spirit is with her and her sisters.

She also gave a shout out to her dad who was still with her in her journey. She thanked her family for their support as well.

Briefly.co.za previously reported that her character on Generations is caught in quite a bit of drama. Her character, Tshidi, who has finally secured money to pay Skhumbuzo to set up Sphe and reveal she has been playing mob doctor, so her family and society can kick her out for good.
