DJ Lamiez Holworthy recovering after surgery

AFTER recently undergoing eye surgery, Lamiez Holworthy is recovering well at home.

Speaking to a local publication the DJ and TV presenter’s mum and manager, Imelda Klow, said Lamiez would soon return to work.

“It was only for the first three days that she needed to rest and be in a dark room, as ordered by the doctor.

“The surgery didn’t take long to perform and was not invasive,” she said.

Lamiez had her surgery at Safe Sight Eye Laser, and revealed on Instagram that she would not be attending any gigs until she’s fully recovered.

“Straight from a week full of gigs and work to my first eye surgery.

I’ll be off social media and won’t be working for the next few days as I recover,” she wrote.

“Sending you all love and light. In a world so full of darkness, always choose to see and be the light.”

Following the surgery, Lamiez shared a photo of herself with yellow eyes.

Fans were happy to hear she had a good experience as the last time she underwent medical treatment, she complained that health workers asked for photos with her – despite the fact that she was visibly sick.
