KZN on high alert as second tornado hits province
A second tornado has ripped through KwaZulu-Natal. The South African Weather Service confirmed it, this time in Bergville, near the Drakensberg. There have been no reports of injuries so far.
It’s the second one this week. On Tuesday, a tornado killed at least two people in New Hanover near Pietermaritzburg. This as Durban braces for more severe storms. The city’s Mayor Mxolisi Kaunda says emergency teams are more than ready to deal with any situation.
Schools have been instructed to send pupils not writing exams back home. Heavy rains have been pounding parts of KwaZulu-Natal, triggering floods and blocking off some roads.

Singer, Kelly Khumalo, has peaked the suspicion of social media users after a contradictory interview claiming that her son recognized Senzo Meyiwa’s killers on television.
Kelly Khumalo’s interview on eNCA trended on social media on Tuesday, 12 November 2019, and has since gone viral. In the interview with television host, Ayanda Allie Paine, Kelly claims that her son recognized the “uncles” that killed his father on television. Read more
