Families of the victims gunned down in Ndwedwe, KwaZulu-Natal are demanding that police work fast to arrest their killers.

Their loved ones are among 11 people killed in separate incidents over the weekend.

In one, several suspects opened fire outside a tuckshop in Ndwedwe.

In the second, six people were killed in an informal settlement in Clermont.

Police say the search is on to find the shooters.

“In both incidents, the provincial commissioner has tasked the crime intelligence to take over the investigations,” said Brigadier Jay Naicker.
