Bheki Cele inspects KZN hotspots ahead of national shutdown

Police Minister Bheki Cele says police are ready for the shutdown.
Cele was visiting areas around Durban ahead of the EFF’s planned protest on Monday.
He has given strict orders to over 18,00 officers in KwaZulu-Natal to arrest those who break the law.
There are fears the unrest that took place in July 2021 might take place once again in the province during the shutdown.
Cele said they will be on the ground to make sure this doesn’t happen.
