2 arrested and family released after KZN hostage drama
Police have rescued a grandmother and her two grandchildren after they were held hostage for three hours.
Five men allegedly robbed a cellphone shop and fled to Umbumbulu in Durban.
One of the suspects was arrested during the chase, while the second entered a house where he held the occupants’ hostage.
After a standoff with police, the suspect was apprehended, and a firearm was seized.
Three other suspects are still on the run.

Mzansi DJ, Dineo Ranaka says has had enough of being labelled an attacker and is looking to travel with security after a woman by the name of Tengetile Khumalo alleged she had been attacked by the Metro FM DJ.
