Residents angry over relocation of KZN flood victims
Reservoir Hills residents are unhappy that around 47 people are set to live with them in the same area.
They confronted KwaZulu-Natal Premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube after she introduced new temporary accommodation for flood victims.
Residents say this will lead to overcrowding.
Over 15 buildings in KZN have been identified as temporary accommodations for victims of April’s deadly floods.
Dube-Ncube has highlighted to media the criteria to be followed in order to house people.
She says these buildings will have electricity, among other necessities.
Dube-Ncube has been updating the media on recovery efforts in the province.
